Thinking of taking a refresher course or going back to school? Not ready for the long-term commitment of a degree program? The Krannert School of Physical Therapy offers options for professional development outside of our degree programs.
Physical therapists may audit or take courses as a non-degree seeking student. Auditors pay one-half of the course tuition rate. Auditors are not required to complete course readings and assignments, but often find that their experience is enhanced by some advanced preparation. Classes take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the scheduled weekend. Non-degree seeking students fully participate in the course and receive credit.
Individuals may take up to 3 courses from the following list:
PTPP 501 Scientific Basis for Examination and Intervention for Orthopaedic Dysfunction
PTPP 505 Legal and Ethical Issues in Rehabilitation
PTPP 509 Theoretical Foundations for Examination and Intervention for Neurologic Dysfunction
PTPP 513 Practice Management in Physical Therapy
PTPP 539 Clinical Research in the Health Sciences
PTPP 543 Pharmacology
PTPP 630 Health Promotion Programming for Rehabilitation Professionals
Please see the postprofessional course schedule and course descriptions for current course offerings.
