Linda Biggers with student and volunteer patient.Linda Biggers is an instructor, and she teaches integumentary rehabilitation and complex medical conditions in the professional program and neuromuscular rehabilitation, professional issues, integumentary rehabilitation and patient care in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, as well as being the PTA Program Director.

Linda earned lymphedema management certification in 1996 from Lerner Lymphedema Services in Princeton, NJ. She has extensive clinical experience in acute care rehabilitation. She has also worked clinically in pediatrics, outpatient care and lymphedema care.

She received the 2010 Frances C. Ekstam Award from the Indiana Chapter, American Physical Therapy Association; this award honors a member of the Indiana Chapter whose contribution to physical therapy has been of outstanding measure. Linda is an active member of the APTA serving on the Board of Directors in various capacities since 2000, and currently serving as the Chairperson of the Conference Committee. She is also a member of the Education Section of the APTA. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in health sciences at the University of Indianapolis.
