Sam Kegerreis is a professor. Sam was the recipient of the University of Indianapolis 2000 Teacher of the Year Award. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer, clinical consultant to the Methodist Sports Medicine Center (MSMC) and an instructor in the MSMC Primary Care and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.

Sam has authored multiple journal publications and has made more than 100 professional presentations in 25 states. He has twice been an invited speaker to both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) national meetings.

Mr. Kegerreis is a member of the APTA Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Sections and has won the Sports Medicine Section's Educator of the Year Award. He teaches and works clinically in the areas of orthopaedic physical therapy, manual therapy, and pain management teaching professional and postprofessional level courses on these topics.

In 2010, Sam was honored by the University for his 30 years of service to the Krannert School of Physical Therapy.
