Dr. Rundquist teaches musculoskeletal physical therapy in the professional DPT program as well as several courses in the postprofessional program. He also serves as Chair of the Institutional Review Board. His clinical interests include the examination and treatment of patients with shoulder and spine dysfunction. Dr. Rundquist has delivered invited platform and poster presentations on shoulder function to national audiences.

He has published papers on shoulder kinematics and kinetics and hand function recovery long-term post-stroke. Peter is a manuscript reviewer for the Archives of Physical Medicine, Clinical Biomechanics, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, and Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy and is a member of the Education, Orthopedic, and Research sections of the American Physical Therapy Association.

In 2008, Dr. Rundquist was honored as one of seven faculty members to receive a Faculty Achievement Award at the University of Indianapolis.
