Dear Prospective Student:

Department of Physical Therapy

Thank you for your interest in the physical therapist assistant (PTA) program at the University of Indianapolis. I am delighted you have chosen an exciting, dynamic career in physical therapy.

The PTA program is designed to meet the needs of traditional college students entering as freshman, as well as non-traditional college students. Students may choose to integrate the general education requirements with the PTA courses or complete part or all of the general education requirements prior to enrolling in the PTA courses. The PTA classes are in the evenings; however, the general education classes may be taken during the day or during the evening. The PTA program takes 24 months to complete for students enrolled full-time. Completion time varies for non-traditional or part-time students.

Be sure to submit the university undergraduate application and a PTA program application.

If you are interested in beginning the PTA program in August 2010, please complete the university application materials and submit the PTA program application by February 1.

Should you have any questions or need assistance with the application process, please contact our Director of Admissions at (317) 788-3457, 1-800-232-8634, or kwilson@uindy.edu. If you are interested in financial aid, you should contact the financial aid office as soon as possible to complete the necessary forms. The number for financial aid is (317) 788-3217.
