| Dear Prospective Student:
Thank you for your interest in the
physical therapist assistant
(PTA) program at the University of Indianapolis. I am delighted you
have chosen an exciting, dynamic career in physical therapy.
The PTA program is designed to meet
the needs of traditional
college students entering as freshman, as well as non-traditional
college students. Students may choose to integrate the general
education requirements with the PTA courses or complete part or all of
the general education requirements prior to enrolling in the PTA
courses. The PTA classes are in the evenings; however, the general
education classes may be taken during the day or during the evening.
The PTA program takes 24 months to complete for students enrolled
full-time. Completion time varies for non-traditional or part-time
students.
The University of Indianapolis and
the PTA program accept
applications on a rolling basis. You will find links to a program
brochure, a university
undergraduate application and a PTA program
application. To receive full-color copies of our materials, please
complete the online request for information.
If you are interested in beginning
the PTA program in August
2004, please complete the application materials and return to the PTA
program as soon as possible.
Should you have any questions
or need assistance with the
application process, please contact me at stapleswh@uindy.edu,
or our
Director of Admissions, Anne Hardwick, at 317-788-3495,
